  1 January 2007 - Happy New Year

25 December 2006 - A White Christmas - Melbourne style! (Hail, not snow!)  A very Merry Christmas to all.

8 December 2006: Well I had a further 5 weeks of holidays after coming back from Queensland and how much did I do on the Web Page - absolutely none. So now its time for an update. I've added a bunch of photos from our Queensland trip now.
Last weekend was really hectic with end of year Gymnastics competition and Ballet/Acrobatics concert both on the same day. Both Ainsley and David did terrific jobs and we were so proud of them. They were both really tired. It was a full-on 8am to 8pm day. At the Gym comp, Ainsley came first on Floor and Bars, second on Vault and second overall. David was convinced he would not win anything but was outstanding on high bar and managed third place. Well done to both of them. We rushed directly from the gym comp to the concert where Ainsley performed in Frosty The Snowman with her Ballet class and David was a Soldier Mouse in his Acrobatics Class. See the gym photos and some photos in the concert costumes. Unfortunately we couldn't take photos at the concert.
As if that wasn't enough 'performing' we followed it up with Carols night at School on Tuesday.
David has started Cricket now that Auskick has finished. I've managed to get one photo of him playing cricket.

27 September 2006: We just returned from 10 days of warm tropical Queensland weather. We managed 3 Gold Coast theme parks in three days (Sea World, Wet 'n Wild and Movie World). Thanks to Mark, Jodie and Tayla for kindly providing us a place to stay. We then had 6 relaxing days on Daydream Island where we went swimming, snorkelling, swimming, sailing, swimming, kayaking, swimming, jet skiing, swimming, parasailing, swimming, played mini golf, watched an outdoor movie, had relaxing massages among other things and of course not to forget we did some swimming. As you can tell, the pools were very popular, especially with Ainsley and David. We took hundreds of photos and once we get them sorted there will be some on the photo page. Stay tuned

15 September 2006: The past week has been the last of school term 3. It was also the week of the school production - Stumbles, Mumbles and Fumbles, the Elves Fight Back. Both David and Ainsley had special roles to play in the Grade 1 presentation of Peter Pan. On Tuesday David played Peter Pan and on Thursday Ainsley played Tinkerbell's shadow. The both played lost children on the other's night. We were so proud of their efforts and yes, there are some photos.

3 September 2006: Auskick has finished for the year and David is deciding what to do next. He has a list of at least ten sports that he wants to do. Its now Spring We've had record warm temperatures for the first two days and are really enjoying the warm weather. New photos have been added.

13 August 2006: Ainsley performed in a 'Cabaret Night' for her Ballet School. It was a great night and we really enjoyed the show and party afterwards. (Check out the photos.)

The even older news has been removed (because I didn't think of an archive page back then).
